November was so packed with excellent new psychedelic music that it would be impossible to list all my favorites in this post. A few of these albums may be the very best psych released thus far this year.
Echodelick Records released a bevy of great new psych, including the debut album from Greece’s best-kept-prog-rock secret, Jupiter Fungus. Echodelick also released outstanding new records from bands like Berlin-based Weite, Magick Brother & Mystick Sister, and Norway’s Needlepoint.
Meanwhile, we also saw new releases from Third Eye favorite labels, Aural Canyon, Island House, and Centripetal Force, that we will be savoring over the cold winter months. They included the CD reissue of Tacoma Park, Swim Ignorant Fire, and River Transmission by TwoPine.
We also got two excellent new releases from the Perpetual Doom label, a live record from the prolific Ivan The Tolerable, and much more.
I should probably narrow my monthly list down, but there was so much good stuff in November that this is a long one.
