Centripetal Force has announced the CD release of Tacoma Park, the 2023 self-titled album that has quickly become a cult classic in experimental soundscapes.
Tacoma Park is the creative fusion of John Harrison (known for Jphono1, Lacy Jags, and North Elementary) and Ben Felton (of Pegasus, Blood Revenge, and Jett Rink). Together, Harrison and Felton forge an atmosphere that is less about traditional song structure and more about sonic exploration.
By weaving single-note drones, looping open-tuned electric guitars, and layering improvisations over skeletal chord progressions, Tacoma Park creates an auditory experience designed to transform and elevate the space it occupies.

Initially self-released in a limited run of 50 vinyl copies, Tacoma Park is an underground treasure that too few listeners have yet to discover. To widen the reach of this remarkable album, Centripetal Force is offering a special CD edition, limited to just 75 copies. Housed in a deluxe four-panel LP-style gatefold sleeve, this release includes an exclusive track not found on the original: “Lizard Brain.”
