San Diego’s psych-rock juggernaut Earthless is crash-landing back onto Australian soil this September for a five-stop tour. Known for melting faces with 30-minute instrumental odysseys and riffs that spiral into infinity, the trio will hit Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Castlemaine, and Geelong.
Since forming in 2001, Earthless has become a cult icon of cosmic improvisation. Their 2005 debut, Sonic Prayer, turned heads with its sprawling jams and genre-bending style. That album snagged them the 2007 San Diego Music Award for Best Hard Rock Album, a title they’d claim again in 2014 with From the Ages, home to the behemoth track, “Uluru Rock.”
