Lorquin’s Admiral expands the heavy psych-rock landscape with their newest single and music video, “Inexplicable Things,” released under Argonauta Records.

Blending slumberous rhythms, rich harmonies, and intricate guitar work, the band draws on the experience of its impressive lineup, which includes members of Afghan Whigs, Hermano, and Luna Sol.

The songwriting trio of Marlon King, Nick Hannon, and Dandy Brown—known for their work on Yawning Sons’ Sky Island—brings a refined sense of atmosphere and depth to the project.

The vocal interplay between Dawn and Dandy Brown is particularly striking, adding warmth and tension to the track. Meanwhile, drummer Steve Earle (not that Steve Earle) provides a solid, dynamic foundation, and guitarists David Angstrom and Country Mark Engel contribute layered, textural riffs that enhance the song’s immersive quality.

For Kyuss, Fu Manchu fans, and even the Cranberries, Lorquin’s Admiral offers a fresh yet familiar take on heavy psychedelic rock.

Stay tuned for the release date of Lorquin’s Admiral’s debut album, and follow Argonauta Records for updates, singles, and exclusive previews.
