Best Psychedelic Music of April 2024

The weather is getting warmer, and the psychedelic music of 2024 keeps getting better. As we surveyed the music released in April, there was plenty to be thankful for as a psychedelic fan.

One of my favorites of the month was the Cosmic Country Revue record featuring Jeffrey Silverstein, Bobby Lee, and Joe Harvey-Whyte. April also brought a fascinating ambient album from Chicago-based Davi Music and the indie-psych-rock compilation So Many Things At Once, which prominently featured our good friends in The Garment District.

Island House Records released another fantastic instrumental album from Philly-based guitarist Nick Millevoi, Moon Pulses. The popular psychedelic groovesters Khruangbin returned with a new record, and perennial favorite label Perpetual Doom offered us not one but two new albums from Bill Baird.

Here’s The Third Eye’s list of favorite psychedelic albums from April 2024:

Be sure to support all the artists, bands, and labels bringing this terrific music to our ears by buying their stuff on Bandcamp.

I hope you had a great April, and I hope you enjoy some of these tunes!
