The Third Eye

What’s going on? It’s hard to say. The world is fraying at the edges, so for this edition of Third Eye Radio, I found myself turning to the Sufi poet Rumi. Not for answers exactly, but for something that felt steady. Maybe that’s where we all are: wandering through a kind of strange, shared wilderness, trying to make sense of it as we go.

This episode drifts through that terrain. There are transmissions from Bathysphere Records, Wapstan, Tacoma Park, Johnny Bell, and Abronia.  A strong current of ambient and instrumental work runs throughout, occasionally ruptured by bursts of harsh noise, just enough to remind you that not everything resolves cleanly. Not in our world, at least.
