Two guitars, two gravitational forces locked in an eternal orbit of vibration. One is from Brad Frye, a desert-dweller, six-string conjurer, and founder of Red Mesa and Desert Records. The other is from Ronaldo Baca—flamenco phantom, gypsy jazz sorcerer, a conjurer of spectral chords.
Together, they construct an electric drone so thick it could bend the air around you, pulling your mind into the black hole where psych, space minimalism, and heavy meditation collapse into one singularity.
But let’s be clear: this is not desert rock, stoner jams, or gypsy jazz with a distortion pedal slapped on. No, this is the pure drone, the raw frequency worship, the kind of sound Lamonte Young heard in his deepest lucid dreams, the hum that Terry Riley once imagined vibrating through eternity.
This is Earth’s Earth 2, played on a spaceship slowly losing oxygen, leaving only the infinite tone behind.
Droni Eye Omi are the cosmic navigators of the mind’s uncharted depths, the pilots of an astral vessel engineered entirely from sustained notes and feedback loops. Here, melody dissolves, rhythm disintegrates, and all that remains is sound as substance—pure and towering, a vibrating cathedral of tone where silence and volume are one and the same.
Don’t seek certainty; it is an illusion. Don’t seek answers; they are embedded in the pulsating waves. The high-voltage guitars will shake your ribcage, jolt your synapses, and guide you into the sacred hum, where thought is no longer necessary, where sound is not played but revealed.
