Los Angeles psych-punk shapeshifters Frankie and the Witch Fingers are back, claws out, with a new album, Trash Classic, due June 6th (via The Reverberation Appreciation Society / Greenway Records).
The first single, “Economy,” is a neon-lit panic attack—grimy synths gnash against razor-sharp guitars and precision-pummel drums, all locked in a death spiral of consumerist delirium. It’s a mutant disco for the overworked, underpaid, and existentially exhausted.
Hot off their acclaimed 2023 album Data Doom, Frankie and the Witch Fingers push their sound further into the abyss. Trash Classic is a snarling, twitching beast—equal parts synth-punk seizure, proto-punk venom, and industrial grime—stitched with electric tension and an ear for the absurd.

If Data Doom was the end of the world, Trash Classic is the afterparty in the ruins, where the neon still flickers, and the bassline won’t let you sit still.
Forged in the industrial decay of Vernon, Los Angeles, and transmuted into its final form in Oakland’s Tiny Telephone Studio with producer Maryam Qudus (La Luz, Spacemoth), the album is a freak experiment gone right.
Synths screech, basslines slither, and guitars crash like shattered glass in a rainstorm of static. Every track teeters on the edge of collapse, held together by the band’s relentless groove and anarchic energy.
A world tour for the band looms, promising some of their biggest headline shows yet. Catch them on stage if you dare—just don’t expect to leave the same.
The complete list of tour dates is below. More announcements, music videos, and sonic detours are incoming. Stay tuned, stay weird, and prepare for Trash Classic to sink its teeth in.
